Magherafelt & places to visit
Magherafelt town has excellent shopping and banking facilities
plus many award winning pubs and restaurants. An old market town,
Magherafelt always has a buzz which makes it so easy to spend a
few hours just wandering around. In addition, Magherafelt plays
host to a series of festivals throughout the year e.g. hill walking
and folk festivals.
The countryside surrounding Magherafelt, known as Moyola, is scenic
and worth a general walk or drive around. The photo says it all.

The Giants Causeway, one of the seven wonders of the
world, you can't visit N. Ireland and miss it. Located on the Irish
coast it is worth a visit just to hear the story on the famous giant
Finn MacCool.
The Glens of Antrim while slightly further way is well worth a visit.
With a great variety of walks for all levels is without doubt a
real gem.
Magherafelt offers the complete angling experience for both game
