The Family Home is a thriving business.
The only guesthouse in the Magherafelt area to be awarded three
prestigious stars by the Northern Ireland Tourist Board, Brooke
Lodge really pushed the standards up a notch when they started providing
accommodation.
Patricia Devlin. County Derry Post, 22/01/08
The purpose built bed and breakfast has become one of the Countys
most hidden gems, situated on the edge of Magherafelt town: this
picturesque guest house provide hotel luxuriance for bed and breakfast
value.
As beautiful on the inside as it looks for the outside, this family
run guest house attracts visitors world wide, each met with a warm
smile and a friendly heart, clearly translated onto the Lodges ever
expanding guest book.
The three storied dwelling combines the classic with the modern
with each bedroom individually equipped with pine furniture, widescreen
plasma TVs with Sky, wireless broadband as well as first class Neutrogena
toiletries.
Guests even have the choice of high standard pressurised showers
or a deluxe Jacuzzi spa bath in their en-suites rooms. I think youll
agree that most hotels would struggle to keep up with Brooke Lodges
divine standards.
Martina and Eamon ONeill, proprietors of the gorgeous four
year old house, say their aim is to make sure all their guests have
a pleasurable and memorable stay, and with chef Martinas exquisite
menu of offer, guest will definitely be coming back for more.
(We create all our menus from local farm fresh products and try
to stay as organic as we can. I believe that food is as important
in your stay as is a great room so food here at Brooke Lodge is
a big priority.)
Since opening the doors in February 2004m Brooke Lodge has exceeded
all of the couples expectations as well as the country tourists
boards. Martina says: (This house was a dream to build and over
the last four years it ahs exceeded all of our expectations.
At the moment we have visitor occupation of 80-90% every month,
which greatly over takes the tourist boards average of 30-40%. And
as the saying goes you are only as good as your last customer, and
for us just having one person coming though the door time and time
again does it all for me).
